Emerging Young Artists Productions, Inc. - Okay we get it --
too sunny and warm to write during the summer. Students too busy
soaking up the sun and getting as much fresh air as possible...no time
to put the pen to the paper to win a $100 bucks! Well say no
more--contest extended -- lets try a back to school writing contest!
Same rules apply and final entry date to be determined after summer
vacation; therefore, stay tuned for date!

Emerging Young Artists Productions is a non-profit organization that develops programs centered on promoting reading and writing through fashion concepts. Our affiliate mjbDesigns For You, LLC provides all funding for programming and is a fashion forward company with a fresh and unique approach towards fashion design. Additionally, mjbDesigns For You, LLC is dedicated to Arts and Education coupled with pursuing researching, educating, and uplifting youth who are pursuing the arts with passion.
Our current program for Summer 2011 is a writing contest for youth in grades 6th through 12th grade (includes 2011 graduates). There is no cost for students who register and there is a grand prize of $100.00 to the winner! The only requirement is students must register by July 15th and final poetry or short story of a maximum 1500 words or less is due by July 22, 2011. Registered contestants will be listed by no later than Sunday, July 17, 2011.
Contest Rules:
Students can register anytime during the month of June 2011 through July 15, 2011 by going to gbynoe@contact us. Once registered, students will receive additional information, registration number, and where to send their final work for the writers' contest. Final work for contest is due by July 22, 2011. Evaluation of final works will take place from July 24 - July 31, 2011 and based on submissions a number of finalists will be selected. Finalist’s selected literary works
will be posted during the posting period from August 1st. through August 27, 2011. Voting period takes place from August 28th through September 3, 2011. Winner will be announced on Sept 4, 2011.
How to register:
Go to contact page and select Writers’ Contest. If student is under age 18, provide student's parent first and last name,student's first and last name, and an email address. After student's registration is received registered student will receive an email confirming his/her registration, registration number, a summary of contest rules, and additional information as necessary.
Only students’ first name, last name initial, and the school he/she attends will be listed on Emerging Young Artists page--all other information remains confidential.
