• Fundamentals of fashion and design for grades 1st – 3rd: Students will pick an accessory or garment of their
choice to personalize/design. In this course, students will learn how to make a simple garment or accessory using hand sewing
and embroidery techniques. The program develops fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, and color selection.
• Fashion Book Club – While sewing mjbDesigns For You, LLC fashion products twice per week, students will follow the adventures of Fashion Kitty by Charise Mericle Harper - for grades 3rd and up. The program continues to enhance fine motor skills, eye and hand coordination, and color and pattern design selection, coupled with strengthening reading comprehension skills.
